Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding is undergoing laser surgery to rid her of a small tattoo she has on her back. Apparently, the star is removing her tattoo as part of her image makeover.

It is said Harding is looking to promote a more mature image for her solo career when Girls Aloud call it a day.

A source has said,

“She’s not suddenly changing who she is, she’s just growing up and is getting a more sophisticated ideal of style. Getting her hair cropped last year was part of that as is renovating her wardrobe, and now she’s decided that her tattoo has to go as well. It’s only small but she feels that it’s a symbol of the old Sarah. She also doesn’t want it limiting her acting and modelling choices in the future.”
