My Tattoo - Joanna’s Story

I’ve always liked tattoos - all the rock stars who I looked up to had them. I liked the idea of having tattoo’s on my arms because it was different to all the other girls at school who had tattoo’s on the base of their backs. I was originally going to have three stars of varying sizes, each representing a family member, but on the day I got my tattoo done I was so nervous that I would get I.D’d (I was 17 at the time) and that I would chicken out of it I just got the one star.
To be honest, I got ripped off. This little star on my wrist cost me £25.00. Looking at it now, it’s uneven and not professionally done. I don’t regret my tattoo, I regret getting it done where I did and I wish i hadn’t rushedinto a decision and had shopped around.
I look foward to getting another tattoo, which I’m hoping will be done a lot more professionally this time around.
