Eva Longoria was recently spotted without the tattoo that marked her wedding to basketball star Tony Parker, sparking rumours that a divorce was imminent. The Desperate Housewives actress was papped without her ‘VII VII MMVII’ tattoo on her wrist and gossip spread that it was because the couple were no longer Mr & Mrs.

However, Longoria had a simpler explination as to why her tattoo was ‘missing’ - it was covered my makeup.

Rachel Krautkremer, Longoria’s rep, has said,

“The tattoo is not removed. She has to cover it for the show [’Desperate Housewives’] every day, so the makeup must have still been on her wrist.”
