So in High School I was really into Punk Rock. At Westminster HS in California that wasn’t the easiest thing. My school was only about 10% white. and maybe 1.5% punk rockers.
I was into The Clash mostly at this point (inspiring my chest piece “the clash” in my own handwriting). Most of the kids at school didn’t understand why I was a white girl with liberty spikes and cut off Dickie’s and home made shirts with marker all over them but I simply didn’t care. (read more…)

I’ve always liked tattoos - all the rock stars who I looked up to had them. I liked the idea of having tattoo’s on my arms because it was different to all the other girls at school who had tattoo’s on the base of their backs. I was originally going to have three stars of varying sizes, each representing a family member, but on the day I got my tattoo done I was so nervous that I would get I.D’d (I was 17 at the time) and that I would chicken out of it I just got the one star.
