£200 Tattoo Removal Cream: Waste Of Money

Make sure you are 100% certain when you walk into that tattoo parlour because a recent investigation has proved that an expensive cream, which claims to remove tattoos, is a waste of time and money. So, if you find yourself out of love with your tattoo, you’ll have to find another way to remove it.

Tattoo2go costs around £200 for a six month supply. It is advertised online and in national newspapers. According to one site, ‘95% of them reported their tattoo having either completely disappeared, or barely visible’.

A number of ‘satisfied customers’ were prepared to leave testimonies to the cream but one has to question whether these are purely made up to entice customers.

Paul Stevens from Tattoo2go told Sky News,

“We have a really high success rate. Unlike other treatments which can burn you skin ours doesn’t. And we’ll give a full refund after six months if customers aren’t happy with the results.”

Regardless of the before and after pictures and impressive testimonies, medical professionals are not convinced. Dr Patrick Bowler, a surgeon doctor and director of Court House Clinics, has said,

“It is too good to be true. There’s no scientific evidence that these things work. I think they’re really expensive and there’s no given of any outcome. My advice would be to avoid them.”

Many people know that when they get a tattoo, it’s for life but there are many ‘trend followers’ out there who seem to think removing their tattoo will be just as easy as getting it!

  1. I have had a large tattoo ln my left arm for several years now and i dont
know why i ever got it ?? So i wanted it gone so i went to see my doctor
and he said laser treatment but it costs alot of money and cant be done
on the NHS? He then openned up this medical magazine he gets monthly
and told me about this new cream that removes tattoos? He gave me the
web address So i went away checked out the website http://www.tattooremovalcream.co.uk
I had a read over it and placed an order for 9 months supply as i do have a
large tattoo and would require more than the normal amount as they also
offered 6 months money back . Anyhoo long story made short its been 4
months now and its going its faded about 60%-70% its an amazing product
so i thought i would tell you about this as i feel laser is a rip off and painfull

    Thanks Tracey

  2. Hi, i have used tattoo2go.co.uk cream and although it hasnt completely disappeared yet, it is fading dramatically. I have only been using the cream for about 10 weeks now and it has faded loads. So i think you are wrong in saying that these creams do not work. It has worked for me so far! and would hi8ghly reccommend using a cream rather than laser which hurts and scars.

  4. Nice advertising… Just like on yahoo answers. Pathetic. I would have considered buying it had I have not seen these desperate redemption attempts. I’ve just had a really bad tattoo done, some f**king artist she was, hah.

  5. hi, i purchased this cream as i needed my tattoos gone in 6 months as i was getting married. i say was because i had to cancel my wedding as the cream doesnt work and i am still left with my tattoos and £150 out of pocket! i grew suspicious when the cream arrived in a very cheap looking bottle, you could see where the old lable had been removed which prob said whatever the substance is, and thier very tacky, cheap looking lable put on. the lotion was clearly body lotion, which i had confirmed when i had it tested at the uni im in, who confirmed that there was NOTHING in the cream that would remove tattoos. i got totally ripped off and you will too. like the person who did this website says, the positive response is obviously put there by the seller and co!! i STRONGLY recommend to steer clear, unless you want to pay hundreds of pounds for body lotion that you can get for £1 in your local £1 shop!!

  6. Hiya,

I’m not a trend follower thank you very much but have had a rather SH*T tattooist put a so-called panther on my back many years ago (approx 8/9 years) however, he went in too deep and it looks more like a gargoyle then anything else.

Urban Ink recommended a treatment to me where they tattoo a gel/cream into the offending tattoo and it pushes out the ink @ approx £60 per sq inch.

your thoughts please? is this any good and does the deepness of the tattoo matter ?

    J xx

  7. i have 7 tatoos and love all of then i think the cream are rubbish, people should not enter lightly into getiing tattoos as they are (despite what these creams claim to do) a life long investment, it makes me angry that i and other people i no have spent time and money to put feelings and uniqueness into our tattoos and then these sheep get them because some celebrity has and they think it looks cool….

anyway the point to my rant is….DONT GET A TAT IF UR GOING TO WANT TO REMOVE IT WITH STUPID CREAMS IN A FEW YEARS…..
